Alberta Swiss Crossbow Association - Calgary

Last year, we won a Fondue Set from he Embrach shooting competition. So, that the very nice Fondue set would not sit unused in some showcase or shelf we held a special Saturday-afternoon shoot. Five practise shots and five shots on two targets. After the shooting we enjoyed some grilled sausage and nussgipfel donated by Rustic Sourdough Bakery, the best bakery in Calgary.

.

There will be no shooting activities till some times in April 2008, when the weather and temperature will be more inviting again.

An evening with good food, good camaraderie and fun where the winners of the various shooting programs were announced and prizes and medals were awarded. The club champion for 2007 is again Franz Portmann, in 2nd place Fritz Gosteli, 3rd Erwin Glutz, 4th Theo Christen.

2008 Shooting Season

Spring has sprung.

We finally had some reasonable weather to start our shooting season. We tend to start about mid April but the weather was cold and in the first week of May we even had some snow.

We received an invitation to participate in the 60th Anniversary Shoot with Seon, but with virtually not practice before we declined.

Our shooting evenings are again every Wednesday at least for a while.

As always visitors are most welcome.

See you at the range.
